How does it work?
It’s really simple to get started 😊
Just get in touch for a chat about what you or your loved one needs, and we can arrange a time that works to have a face to face meeting. From there, if you're happy to choose June Care, your preferred days & times will be agreed — whether that’s regular visits or just occasional help.
Everything is tailored to suit you.
Do you provide transport for social outings or appointments?
Yes! I can provide transport for people who can mobilise independently. Unfortunately at the moment, i am unable to provide wheelchair accessible transport but i am happy to walk, travel in a taxi or on hospital transport with you or your loved one.
What happens if my shopping costs more or less than agreed?
Any remaining balance will be returned to you or deducted from your next invoice—whichever you prefer.
If additional items are needed, I will always communicate with you first where possible before going over the agreed amount.
Are you insured and DBS checked?
Yes, I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check on the update service. I am also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), so all personal information is handled securely.
I am happy to provide proof of these for your peace of mind if required, please just ask 😊
Do you offer emergency or short-notice support?
Yes, where availability allows. This can include last-minute shopping or support following a hospital discharge.
Short-notice visits may be charged at a slightly higher rate due to travel and rearranging schedules.
Who is this service for?
This service is for anybody needing a little extra support, including older adults, adults with disabilities, people living alone, individuals who need a bit of extra support, recovery from an illness, or families who live further away and want reassurance.
Do you replace a carer or care agency?
This service is designed as a more flexible, personal alternative for those who don’t want or don't need 'formal care' but still need some extra support.
What areas do you cover?
I am based in Carlisle and cover surrounding areas. Visits further afield are charged at 45p per mile.
Can I meet you before I agree to anything?
Absolutely! I always offer a meet & greet first, so we can have a face to face chat & make sure it's right for you before you decide to accept any support.
How do I book or find out more?
You can get in touch via phone, message, or Facebook to discuss your needs and arrange support.
